The Growthbuilt Sydney University Australian National Football Club returns to action this weekend following the long weekend break, with Round 9 fixtures spread across Sydney. A traditional rivalry clash against UNSW-ES Bulldogs headlines the round, with our Men’s and Women’s Premier Division sides, Men’s Division One, U19.5 Division One and Women’s Under 20’s (Gold) all making the trip to Henson Park.

Back at home, Sydney Uni No.1 Oval hosts four matches across the women’s, men’s and masters programs, while additional away fixtures see Sydney University represented against South West Sydney Blues and Manly Warringah Wolves across the city.

With the season entering its second half, every grade will be looking to build momentum and strengthen its position on the ladder as the race towards finals begins to take shape.

Additionally, this weekend, club stalwart, Kyle Underwood reaches a significant milestone, bringing up 200 games for the Sydney University Australian National Football Club.

Since joining the club in 2012, Kyle has been a constant presence both on and off the field. A long-serving Premier Division player, he represented the Students with distinction across more than a decade of football before joining the coaching team as a player-coach.

Following a successful tenure as Men’s Division One player-coach, Kyle now leads our Men’s Premier Division program, continuing to play a key role in the development of players and the success of the club.

A respected club stalwart, Kyle’s 200-game milestone reflects years of commitment, leadership and service to the blue and gold. Congratulations, Undies.
