The Growthbuilt Sydney University Australian National Football Club continued its home and away season across Round 9 over the weekend, with the traditional rivalry round against UNSW-ES Bulldogs headlining another strong set of results across the program.

The weekend also marked a significant club milestone, with Men’s Premier Division Coach Kyle Underwood celebrating his 200th game with the club. Since joining the Students in 2012, Underwood has become a club stalwart, representing Sydney University across more than a decade as a Premier Division player before moving into coaching. A former Men’s Division One coach and current Men’s Premier Division coach, his contribution to the club both on and off the field has been immense, making the occasion a fitting highlight of the round.

Across twelve matches, Sydney University recorded eight wins, including dominant victories in Men’s Premier Division, Men’s Division One, Women’s Under 20’s (Gold) and U19.5 Division One, while also securing a clean sweep of the Premier aligned fixtures against UNSW-ES Bulldogs. Strong performances across multiple grades saw the club continue to build momentum as the season moves into its second half.
