Elite Athlete Scholarships
Growthbuilt Sydney University Australian National Football Club (SUANFC) is supported by Sydney University Sport and Fitness (SUSF), the two organisations offering talented athletes the opportunity to receive a scholarship whilst engaged in study. Scholarships are awarded by application only. Late applications may be considered.

Indigenous Scholarship Program
Growthbuilt SUANFC, in partnership with the University of Sydney and Sydney University Sport & Fitness (SUSF), is focused on providing indigenous Australians the opportunity to undertake higher education studies at one of Australia’s leading tertiary institutions, and helping them to realise their ambitions both on and off the field through world class training facilities and the support and sense of community of a local AFL club.
Support networks are also in place at the University of Sydney through the Social Inclusion Unit and the Koori Centre, as well as the possibility to partner with former AFL greats and current indigenous stars playing with the Sydney Swans and the Greater Western Sydney Giants.
We see a real opportunity to work with a major corporate or philanthropic partner to build an indigenous pathway for young people from all regions of Australia to higher education in Sydney.
In order to put the proposed Indigenous Scholarship Program in place, our club, SUSF, and prospective scholarship holders, would require significant corporate and or philanthropic support. Donations are tax deductible with direction to the Growthbuilt SUANFC Foundation.
