At SUANFC we are a club run by the players, for the players. Whether it’s running water, turning sausages or umpiring a game, every effort goes a long way! Each week we select the efforts of one member who has gone above and beyond to help their club and recognise them below. Congratulations and, more importantly, THANK YOU to all those who are listed below and who help out each week.

Edgar Goldfeld

Volunteered to miss out on playing and instead umpire the game at the last minute.

Adam Birman

Umpiring two games in the morning and then helping out by covering duties all afternoon.

Umpiring every week at both home and away games.

Umpiring our women’s ressies up in Manly before travelling back to Gore Hill to play his own game in the evening.

Coached, ground managed, time kept and even goal umpired for our men’s Div 2 side.

Going above and beyond in organising a fantastic Ladies Day event.

Rich Hawtin

Travelled across Sydney to umpire two games on the weekend. Rich did the same last weekend and even stepped in to help another club who were short an umpire.

Matt Jensen

Matty J volunteers as one of our Div 3 coaches. Following his game in Wollondilly, he returned to Oval One to umpire the Masters, run the BBQ and pack up the ground.

Volunteered to help out as soon as most games were called off. “Pig” helped out by timekeeping all day at Gore Hill Oval.

Team manager for both the Men’s Prems and Reserves teams, Liz goes above and beyond each and every week with the level of support and care she gives to the entire club.
