A tough start to the season for our Womens Div 1 team saw them lose their first four games against strong opponents. However the team is really starting to come together now and building consistency after seeing a number of new players come through. Winning four of their last five games, the women’s div 1 team will be looking to maintain their competitiveness going into the second half of the season

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SEASON SO FAR
Recently the womens div 1 team has beaten the top two teams, one previously unbeaten, which has certainly been a highlight. I big achievement for the team this season has also been getting games into young players, all 17/18/19, Arachi, Sidney, Arabella, Lucy R, Torika, Alice Cagney.
BIGGEST CHALLENGE FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON
A big challenge will be managing players in all teams going away, so the team will no doubt see some personnel changes- it will be important that they maintain consistency through this. A positive on this will be that it does provide opportunities for other players to come in and show what they are made of.

KEY PLAYERS TO WATCH IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON
Arachi Park, Arabella Price are certainly players to watch- both young but mature beyond their years. Isabella Pacifici has moved to defence and been really good, and may be one that could get a look at Prems soon.
Head Coach, Richard is pleased with how the team is developing and confident they will be able to put on strong performances moving forward: “The players are developing into a good team unit and with the right personnel available, we should feel good about strong performances in the second half of the season.”
