As we cast our eye toward celebrating the success and achievements of the 2015 season with our end of year functions, The Cec & Bunty Champion Night and The Tim Driscoll Medal, the Club Executive calls for nominations for Life Membership inductees for 2015.
In order to be considered for the honour of this award ordinarily a current and/or past member will have made what the current committee considers to be a significant contribution to the club over a period of no less than 10 years (playing and non-playing contributions may be taken into account).
Life Membership is not automatic at 10 years of service, and it may be awarded at any time after 10 years at the committee’s discretion. In special circumstances the award of Life Membership, if deemed appropriate, can also be made prior to 10 years of service.
A candidate for Life Membership need only be nominated by one other current or past member of SUANFC or SUSF. Nominations should be submitted in writing or by electronic mail and should include the nominee’s name and a short submission outlying the contribution of the nominee to the club. The nominee may be asked to provide further information to the current committee to ensure an informed decision is made.
