4 wins from 8 games saw the NEAFL, Colts and Plats return to the winners list, while the Bombers stretched their unbeaten streak to 10.
U19 Colts: Sydney AFL U19s Division 1
Returning to the field after 3 weeks off, the Colts took care of Manly Warringah in convincing fashion, winning by 101 points at Henson Park on Saturday.
Dominating from start to finish, the Colts enjoyed their first win since Round 5, moving back up to 3rd on the U/19s Division 1 Ladder.
Jack Fox, Luke Egan and Henry Lamshed were named best afield for the Colts.
Final Score: Sydney University 19.11 125 def. Manly Warringah 3.3 21.
6th Grade Plats: Sydney AFL Division 5
The Plats played their 3rd game in just week, travelling to Camden early Saturday morning for a must-win clash.
Kicking 3 goals to zip in the first quarter set up a strong foundation for the remainder of the game, keeping Camden to just 3 goals for the game.
A 51-point win sees the Plats remain in finals contention, sitting just 2 wins out of 5th place with 5 games remaining in 2016.
Jared Boccanfuso snagged 4 of the Plats’ 11 goals on the day, while David Starkey and Phi Vo were dominant on ball.

1st Grade Seniors: NEAFL
The SUANFC NEAFL side enjoyed a gutsy 17-point win in their reverse fixture against Aspley on Saturday.
The Hornets (who won the Round 5 encounter between the two sides) jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter, kicking 5 goals to 2.
On the back of some inspiring play from Tom Ayton (3 first-half goals), the Students fought back to regain the lead by halftime.
Neither side could break free in the third quarter, but it was Aspley who would take a 4-point advantage into the final quarter.
The Students hung tough in the final quarter, holding Aspley goalless, while piling on 3 goals of their own to take home the 4 points.
Will Sierakowski had 30 disposals in a best-on-ground performance, while Tom Young (32 disposals) and Mike Manteit (2 goals and 25 disposals) were also named among the best.

5th Grade Golds: Sydney AFL Division 4
The Golds suffered just their 3rd loss in 2016, following a 26-point loss to Camden at Harrington Park.
Only able to manage 4 behinds in the first quarter, inaccuracy would come back to haunt the Golds as they went on to kick 4.12 for the match.
Camden on the other hand were the better side in front of goal, kicking 9.8 to secure their 9th win of the season as they leapfrogged the Golds into 2nd spot.
Brad Elstub, Luke Higgins, Jordan Sanders, Chris Wilde, Callum Kennedy and Ben Hunter were among the best.
Final Score: Camden 9.8 62 def. Sydney University 4.12 36.
2nd Grade Reserves: Sydney AFL Premier Division
After a disappointing loss as the hands of bottom-placed Western Suburbs last week, the Prems finals aspirations were dealt another cruel blow as they went down to Manly Warringah by 50 points.
From the first bounce, Manly Warringah applied relentless scoreboard pressure which the Students simply couldn’t match.
Allister Clarke was once again named in the best, alongside the likes of Sebastian Trevaskis, Spencer Krochmal and Jack Caspersonn.
Final Score: Sydney University 7.10 52 def. by Manly Warringah 16.6 102.
4th Grade Reds: Sydney AFL Division 2
The Reds suffered their 2nd loss in a row, following a visit from Manly Warringah at Henson Park.
Under lights, the Reds were outplayed for the duration of the 4 quarters by a Manly Warringah side, who registered nearly 40 scoring opportunities for the game.
The Reds did themselves no favours in front of goal, finishing with 3 goals and 11 behinds.
Daniel Risby was named best afield, alongside Gordon Willis, the Reds only multiple goal kicker (2 goals).
The Reds now sit 4 games out of finals with just 6 games remaining in their season.

3rd Grade Blues: Sydney AFL Division 1
The Blues took on 1st placed Macquarie University in the final game at Henson Park on Saturday.
An inaccurate Blues side led at quarter time, despite not registering a goal (8 behinds).
After failing to convert their chances in the first quarter, the Blues conceded 6 goals in the second quarter to find themselves trailing by 23 points at halftime.
By the final break, the Blues still hadn’t registered a major, while Macquarie University had edged further ahead.
The Blues finished strongly, kicking 3 goals in the final quarter, but it was Macquarie University who won comfortably by 48 points.
Harry Skacel and Jason Cheah were the best for the Blues who now sit 4th in Division 1.

Sydney University Bombers (Women’s)
The Bombers have now gone 10 games unbeaten in 2016 after a comfortable 17-point win over Newtown on Saturday.
Leading at every break, the likes of Casey Samuels (2 goals), Jennifer Lew (1 goal) and Lara Creber were best afield for the Bombers, who now sit a game clear on top, with a percentage of 412.99%.
Final Score: Newtown 5.3 33 def. by Sydney University 7.8 50.
